Ingredients

Basil Bacon Jalapeño Simple Syrup

  • 4 slices ButcherBox Bacon cooked until crispy, crumbled
  • ½ ea jalapeño pepper sliced and seeds removed
  • ½ c agave syrup
  • ½ c water
  • 3 Tbsp fresh basil roughly chopped

Tequila Bacon Cocktail

  • 3 oz tequila
  • 2 slices cucumber
  • 4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz Basil Bacon Jalapẽno Simple Syrup

Garnish

  • 1 Tbsp Tajin for the rim of cocktail glass
  • 2 ea fresh basil leaves
  • 2 slices ButcherBox Bacon cooked until crispy, crumbled

Instructions

Basil Bacon Jalapeño Simple Syrup

  • Mix all ingredients for simple syrup together in a sauce pot. Simmer for 15 minutes. Strain and chill.

Tequila Bacon Cocktail

  • In a cocktail shaker muddle cucumber slices. Add remaining ingredients, ice and shake vigorously.
  • Salt the rim of the cocktail glass with Tajin. Strain over ice cubes. Garnish with basil leaves and crumbled bacon. Cheers!
