Bacon Cheeseburger Meatballs

The cutest appetizer: a meatball that tastes like a bacon cheeseburger, served on a toothpick.  These are baked in the oven, and the 3-ingredient special sauce is great for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg ButcherBox Ground Beef
  • 1 pkg ButcherBox Bacon extra crispy, rough chopped
  • c cheddar cheese shredded
  • c ketchup
  • ½ c panko bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper

Special Sauce

  • 1 c mayonnaise
  • c ketchup
  • ¼ c dill pickles minced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350℉.
  • Combine all ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
  • Form into tablespoon size balls and place an inch apart on parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve with Special Sauce or your favorite burger condiment.

Special Sauce

  • Combine all ingredients together in mixing bowl. Once completely mixed transfer to a resealable container and refrigerate until ready to use. This will last for 2 weeks in refrigerator.
