  • 2 lbs ButcherBox Chicken Wings
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 green onions finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 Scotch bonnet peppers seeds removed and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon ground allspice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Juice of 2 limes

  • Prepare the Jerk Marinade. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, green onions, garlic, Scotch bonnet peppers, thyme, allspice, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper, salt, and lime juice. Mix well to create the jerk marinade.
Cheat Code: Skip making the marinade at home and try an authentic jerk seasoning or marinade from Walkerswood.
  • Place the chicken wings in a large bowl or a zip-top bag. Pour the jerk marinade over the chicken wings, ensuring they are well-coated. Massage the marinade into the wings. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to let the flavors meld.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Remove the chicken wings from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the wings on the preheated grill and cook for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are cooked through and have a nice char.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the wings reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Transfer the wings to a serving platter. Garnish with additional chopped green onions and serve with your favorite dipping sauce or a side of fresh fruit for a delightful Caribbean-inspired meal.
  • Experience the bold and spicy flavors of Jamaica with these grilled chicken wings—a perfect addition to your barbecue gatherings or game day festivities. Get ready for a flavor explosion in every bite!
