Spiral Ham with Tart Cherry Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg ButcherBox Spiral Cut Ham

Tart Cherry Chutney

  • 4 c frozen cherries rough chop
  • ½ c apple cider vinegar
  • ½ c coconut sugar pure cane sugar can also be used
  • 1 c onion small dice
  • 4 sprigs rosemary finely chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Place ham cut side down on a baking sheet or roasting pan and bake for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare chutney.
  • After 30 minutes, smear a ½ cup of finished chutney all over ham and place back in oven and bake for an additional 10-20 minutes.
  • Slice and serve with remaining chutney and Enjoy!
    Chef Tip: ButcherBox Spiral Hams are fully cooked, the internal temperature needs to be 140°F before eating. We figure about 10 minutes per pound.

Tart Cherry Chutney

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Simmer on medium low for 30 minutes, or until the chutney thickens.
    Chef Tip: It's always best to reduce a sugar and liquid mixture at a low temperature to avoid burning.
