Ingredients

  • 1 lb ButcherBox sirloin steak tips
  • 2.5 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb broccoli diced
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 cups rice cooked
  • green onions & sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare rice as instructed on the package. Evenly distribute among 5 meal prep containers. Set aside.
  • Toss 1.5 tsp cornstarch with ButcherBox sirloin steak tips in a large bowl until evenly coated.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, 1 tsp cornstarch, and a pinch each of salt and pepper.
  • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add broccoli and water; cover and cook for 4-6 minutes until broccoli is tender. Remove broccoli and set aside.
  • In the same pan, heat another tbsp of olive oil. Add coated sirloin tips and sear until browned. Pour in the sauce mixture and simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  • Return the broccoli to the pan, stirring to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Assemble the bowls by dividing the beef and broccoli mixture over the rice. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy your meal prep bowls throughout the week!
