Ingredients

  • 1 10- oz pack ButcherBox Bacon
  • 2 tbsps maple syrup
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Lay out the ButcherBox Bacon in a single layer on the sheet.
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the bacon is crispy, rotating the sheet halfway through.
  • Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Remove bacon and drain the fat.
  • Drizzle or brush the bacon with maple syrup, then sprinkle with black pepper.
  • Return to the oven and bake for an additional 3 to 6 minutes, until the syrup is caramelized.
  • Place bacon on a wire rack to cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
