‘Twas the night before Thanksgiving and before pacing throughout the house, you found the perfect last-minute guide with the click of a mouse.
Prepping and planning for a Thanksgiving celebration takes a lot of work, whether it’s your first time or your fifteenth time hosting the special holiday meal. The night before is definitely crunch time.
Use these simple tips to keep track of everything as you get ready for the big day.
This is the secret to a tender turkey! Just soak your turkey in a salt-based water mixture. Combine salt, sugar, and water, or try this Easy Apple Cider Brine.
Prep Your Sides
The morning is going to be crazy. Do the chopping and dicing tonight, so you can spend more time with your friends and family tomorrow.
Bake Pies and Desserts
You’re going to need that valuable oven space for your turkey and trimmings. Go ahead and bake your treats tonight (just try not to dig in before tomorrow!).
Get the Table Ready
You might not want to actually set your table, but you can spend a little extra time tonight making it pretty. Put out any flowers or decorations, and get all of your serving dishes, utensils, plates, and glasses ready (that means making sure you have enough for everyone and checking that they’re nice and clean).
Take a Breath
It’s only one meal, after all. Your friends and family are here to support you, and you’re going to do great!
