Dinner has never been easier.
I know we’re all sick of recipe posts where there’s a full family history shared before you get to the ingredients list and I promise this won’t be as bad, but I do have to share some background here.
I started off making these tacos to take photos of them so I was focused on making them look good. I finished up right around lunch time and my husband (who is usually settling down with his grilled chicken salad) was watching me with hungry and hopeful eyes – along with our food-motivated miniature poodle. I told him I was done shooting and he was free to nosh, but I warned that I had only prepped them for photos so I couldn’t promise that they tasted good — I hadn’t even stopped to reheat or season the beef barbacoa.
We were both shocked to find that straight out of the package, the Slow Cooked Beef Barbacoa was perfectly seasoned, contributing to some of the best tacos I’ve ever made. But that’s not even the best part. The entire recipe from start to finish including prep, took less than 10 minutes! I’ve modified the recipe to include 5 minutes for reheating the beef barbacoa bringing the total cook time to 14 minutes. Enjoy!

- Once thawed, place the contents of the package into a saucepan (juices included) over medium heat.

- Allow the beef to rest for 1-2 minutes before serving.
- While the beef is resting, thinly slice the radishes and jalapenos.

- Place a portion of the heated beef barbacoa onto each tortilla.
- Top with sliced radishes, jalapeños, and crumbled cotija cheese.
- Serve immediately.
