Preheat grill with two zones, a hot zone and a cool zone.
Rub chops with olive oil then salt and pepper both sides.
Place chops on hot zone at a 45° angle to the grill grate.
Grill for 4 minutes with a quarter turn after 2 minutes.
Flip chops over and grill for 2 more minutes on hot zone. Move chops to cool zone, close grill lid and continue to grill until internal temperature is 145℉.
Allow pork chops rest 8 minutes before slicing or serving.
