Ingredients

For the Chicken Nuggets: 

  • 1 package ButcherBox Chicken Nuggets 
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

For the Nashville Hot Oil:

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar 
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup hot oil

For the Dipping Sauce (Optional): 

  • Blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing 

Instructions

Preparation 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). 
  • In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. 
  • If using, place blue cheese or ranch dressing in a small bowl for dipping. 

How to Cook 

  • Arrange ButcherBox chicken nuggets on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until crispy and golden. 
  • While the nuggets cook, heat 1/2 cup of oil in a pan and pour it over the mixed spices. Whisk it well to combine. 
  • Once the chicken nuggets are done, dip them immediately into the hot Nashville oil mixture while they’re still hot to coat them. 
  • Serve with blue cheese or ranch dipping sauce for an extra kick!
