Take each scallop and wrap it with a piece of bacon. Secure each one with a skewer or toothpick.
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce and maple syrup to create the glaze.
Preheat the broiler. Place the bacon-wrapped scallops on a baking sheet and brush them with the glaze. Broil for about 2-3 minutes, flipping and brushing every few minutes. Continue cooking for about 8 minutes total, depending on the size of the scallops, until the bacon is crispy and the scallops are cooked through.
Once cooked, drizzle with more glaze and garnish with freshly chopped chives. Serve hot and enjoy!
