Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons arrowroot powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 pounds chicken wings pat dry
  • Cooking spray preferably avocado or olive oil
  • ¼ cup raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce or more to taste
  • Pinch fine sea salt

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 250°F and line a sheet pan with a cooling rack. Heat air fryer to 400ºF. Combine arrowroot, salt, garlic powder and pepper in a small bowl; mix well. Place wings in a large bowl. Sprinkle with arrowroot mixture; toss to coat evenly.
  • Mist air fryer basket with cooking spray. Working in batches, place wings in a single layer in air fryer basket. Air fry until browned and crisp, about 20 minutes, turning over halfway through. While wings are cooking, make sauce: In a small bowl, mix together honey, hot sauce and salt. Taste and stir in more hot sauce, if desired.
  • Repeat with remaining wings, misting basket with cooking spray between batches. To keep wings warm, place on rack and hold in oven as other batches come out of air fryer. Serve with hot honey for dipping, or drizzle hot honey over wings before serving.
