"Sloppy Joe" BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 c ketchup
  • ½ c white vinegar
  • ½ c water
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp jarred crushed pickled hot peppers

Instructions

  • Whisk together all ingredients in a medium sauce pot and bring to a simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Use immediately or store in an air-tight container for up to 1 week.

Chef Tip:

  • Minced pepperoncini can be subsituted for crushed pickled hot peppers.
